AskIt Student is the new way for students and lecturers to communicate within academia. By allowing free flow of anonymous questions and answers, AskIt Student unites the student and lecturer in one virtual classroom. AskIt Student can be accessed in a lecture, in the library or in the middle of the night, whenever and wherever you are.

Features include:
- Students can post anonymous questions and answers.
- Students have the ability to vote on questions they find useful.
- Students have the ability to "save" questions as questions remove themselves from the feed after 1 week to keep relevance.
- Attaching pictures to questions that require a procedure for example.
- When a lecturer replies to a question an icon is showed on the question so that students know a lecturer has replied.
- Categorising the question-feed into most recent, highest voted, and where lecturer have replied to questions.
- The lecturer has her or his questions coloured in red when replying to a student question, and lecturer has the ability to mark a student answer as "correct" which gives the answers a green highlight for other students to see.

Examples of how AskIt Student may be used:
- Anonymous Q&A: Can be used in lectures or in the library at any time, directed at either a lecturer for a definitive answer or peer students for discussions.
- Revision tool: Useful for questions regarding approaching essays and/or exams.
